Chlorthalidone + cilnidipine + telmisartan is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and to lower the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. It will be an added burden on the heart and arteries.

Chlorthalidone + cilnidipine + telmisartan is a drug combination, i.e., Chlorthalidone (diuretic), Cilnidipine, and Telmisartan. Chlorthalidone is a group of diuretics that act by enhancing the elimination of excess water and some salts, i.e., sodium and potassium, from the bloodstream. This elimination of water from blood decreases the amount of circulating fluid in blood vessels and enhances blood flow.
