Description
Benidipine Hydrochloride Tablets 4mg
Benidipine is a type of drug known as a calcium channel blocker, which is used mainly for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris (chest pain). Hypertension (high blood pressure) is an ongoing or chronic disorder in which the blood pressure against the walls of the arteries becomes elevated. Angina pectoris is chest pain due to decreased blood flow to the heart.
Benidipine has ‘Benidipine’ in it. It acts by modulating blood pressure by causing relaxation of the blood vessels and lowering the pressure on them, thus enabling the heart to pump more blood into the body. This eventually lowers blood pressure and alleviates chest pain.
Benefits:
- Benidipine has ‘benidipine’ in it, a calcium channel blocker, and is mainly employed in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris (chest pain).
- It does this by controlling blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure in them, thereby allowing the heart to pump more blood in the body.
- This increased blood flow also enhances oxygen flow throughout the body, hence avoiding any chest pains related to the heart (angina).
Applications:
- Benidipine relaxes blood vessels, enhancing blood flow and lowering blood pressure, thus lowering the risk of heart complications.
- Benidipine decreases the number and intensity of chest pain episodes by promoting increased blood flow to the heart muscle and easing pain from angina.
- It controls blood pressure by calming down blood vessels and lessening the pressure on them, thus making it easier for the heart to pump additional blood into the body.
