Carvedilol Tablets
Carvedilol is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), severe to moderate heart failure, and angina (heart-related chest pain). Apart from this, Carvedilol also lowers the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. High blood pressure is a state wherein the pressure of blood against artery walls is extremely high. It will be an extra load on the work of the heart and arteries. If it is prolonged, the heart and the blood vessels cannot work well and impairing the blood vessels of the heart, brain, and kidneys, and leading to heart failure, stroke, or kidney failure.
Carvedilol has Carvedilol in it, which works by dilating blood vessels by inhibiting the action of some natural chemicals such as epinephrine or adrenaline. It thereby decreases elevated blood pressure and maintains the heartbeat slow and with decreased force, lowering the chances of stroke, heart attack, or other heart issues.
